For your final paper, you will need to select a class topic of your choosing to

For your final paper, you will need to select a class topic of your choosing to research. Your topic must have been approved to receive credit.
*THE TOPIC IS GEOTHERMAL ENERGY*
The topic you selected will need to relate to a class topic, provide meaningful insight to what the technology is, how it works, how it benefits the renewable energy sector, how it will impact the non-renewable energy sector, and how it will benefit the country overall. Basically, I want to know what the technology is, how it works, if it really helps, and if it cost effective.
The paper will need to be presented as a formal research paper that uses scholarly sources to support YOUR opinions about the questions. It must have a reference list.
I will not place a page limit/minimum on the paper but would expect the papers to be 4-5 pages not including the reference or cover pages.

Write a 5- to 7-page Policy Memo advocating for a specific change in U.S. energy

Write a 5- to 7-page Policy Memo advocating for a specific change in U.S. energy policy. Policy Memos are a specific kind of document: Basically, you’re trying to write a persuasive argument, directed at a policymaker, on behalf of a certain course of action. You’ll need the following sections (ideally divided into subheadings):
Title Page
Executive Summary (1 or 2 paragraphs)
Background: What is the problem? Why is it important? How did it come about? Who are the stakeholders? (hint: this is where that pesky problem-identification problem should be helpful)
Policy Critique: What has been done about this problem so far? Why is it inadequate/not getting the job done? What are other available options, and why do they suck?
Policy Recommendations: What SPECIFIC policy action are you recommending? The more specific, the better.
Challenges: What challenges are likely to come up in implementing this policy? Who is NOT going to like this policy change?
Bibliography and in-text citations absolutely required!
You may choose any Policy Memo advocating for a specific change in U.S. energy policy
Thank You!

Assume that you are working as a public health coordinator in a non-profit organ

Assume that you are working as a public health coordinator in a non-profit organization and planning an awareness campaign on your selected issue. Now, select and prepare a one-page risk communication strategy guideline relevant to your community focusing on your self-defined targeted audiences (e.g., people with limited health literacy, public health professionals). Your final submission should contain the following content:
1. Define your target audiences based on the public health issue in their community.
2. Identify risk factors and adverse consequences associated with them.
3. Determine human health consequences due to environmental exposure.
4. Provide prevention strategies to mitigate the health consequences.
Select appropriate communication strategies for the targeted audiences by considering their needs.
5. Your guideline should follow EPA’s Seven Cardinal Rules of Risk Communication.
–PLEASE WRITE ABOUT lead poisoning
–TARGET AUDIENCE: General public
(Electronic waste workers in Agbogbloshie, Accra, Ghana).
–Risk Factors: Anyone who was exposed to the environment especially young kids playing around.
–Adverse Consequences: anemia, weakness, and kidney and brain damage. Very high lead exposure can cause death. Lead can cross the placental barrier, which means pregnant women who are exposed to lead also expose their unborn child.
