Your story should address three things:
THE CHALLENGE. Tell about the one BIGGEST obstacle that challenged your success in any life domain. Explain the challenge with enough specific details that readers will know exactly what obstacle you faced. Don’t just say something general such as, I had a problem with math anxiety. Instead, describe the problem as you’d tell a good friend who wants to hear all of the specific details.
THE STRATEGY. Explain in detail how you applied ONE specific Coun C105 strategy to overcome the challenge. Don’t just make generalizations such as, “The class really helped me and now I have no more problems.” Instead, name the particular success strategy from Coun 105 and describe how you used it, again using specific details.
THE OUTCOME. Finally, end by describing what happened after using that strategy. Again, give specific details.
Your essay should also demonstrate the following:
• Read the rubric.
• Must be typed, using Arial or Times New Roman fonts in 12 point with 1 inch margins all around, double spaced.
• Must include a cover page with your name, Instructor’s name, and Title of your Paper)
• Must include a Resources page (you must use at least 2 resources, one of these may be the power points).
• Be detailed, accurate, complete, in complete sentences, and written in your own words.
• Make sure that you use APA style citations when referring to the specific strategy(ies) from the book that you are employing.
• Between 500-800 words (2-5 pages, NOT including Cover and Resources pages)

– The persuasive speech is required to have a full APA-formatted outline and a reference page. A sample of the APA format is attached in the files.
– My persuasive goal is to persuade the audience on the overall effectiveness of USB-C charging compare to the apple lightening charger.

If you have seen the Maslow Interview and watched the documentary on his place in the culture, you know that Maslow (like all self-actualizers)is not all sweetness and happiness. There are complexities to him that we don’t often perceive when we reduce his ideas to a simple triangle-shaped hierarchy of needs. His ideas are much more than that.
Maslow, who was Jewish, asked:
“Which of the Nazis at Auschwitz or Dachau were healthy? Those with stricken conscience or those with a nice, clear, happy conscience?… If you tell me you have a personality problem I am not certain until I know you better whether to say “Good!” or “I’m sorry.” It depends on the reasons. And these, it seems, may be bad reasons, or they may be good reasons.”
Maslow, A. H. (1962). Toward a psychology of being. Princeton NJ: Van Nostrand
Discuss your reaction to this powerful quote. What does it mean for humanistic, growth and positive psychology. Can we avoid equating ‘feeling good’ with ‘growing and being healthy’; how do we know what healthy really means? Use the resources this week, and from previous weeks, to help answer this question.

Probability, Distributions, Hypothesis Testing, and Measures
This is a three-part assignment that will be submitted as one document. You will need a title and reference page for this assignment. You do not need to include the introduction or conclusion sections.
Part I. Based on what you have learned about probability and distributions, hypothesis testing, and measures of association, answer the following:
What statistical tests will you use to test your null hypothesis (H0)?
Explain why your chosen statistical tests are appropriate for testing the null hypothesis (H0)?
How will you determine correlations between variables?
Part II. Go to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics Table A-1: Employment status of the civilian population by sex and age.
Table A-1 presents the employment status of the civilian population by sex and age and is updated monthly. For this assignment, select the data from the latest available month under the Seasonally Adjusted header column, men, 20 years and over employed and unemployed, and women, 20 years and over, employed and unemployed.
Using any software of your choice and data from Table A-1, develop the following tables and figures, and conduct the following statistical tests.
Create a contingency table and calculate the frequencies.
Create an expected frequencies table.
Calculate the Chi-Square statistic.
Calculate the t-Statistic.
Develop a standard scatter plot for the variables.
Determine if your data level is nominal, ordinal, or continuous. Then calculate the Phi coefficient for nominal level data, Gamma for ordinal level data, or Pearson’s r for continuous level data.
Export the tables and figure(s) into a Word document. Tables and figures are required to follow APA Style.
Part III. As in previous units, revisions to the hypothesis and research questions may be necessary. If you feel revisions are needed, go ahead and make them. If no revisions are needed, justify your decision. Keep in mind you will be developing a quantitative research proposal.
Your final submitted document must be at least three pages long. The title and reference pages do not apply to the page count. You may use the textbook and at least two peer-reviewed scholarly articles from the CSU Online Library as resources.
Adhere to APA Style when constructing this assignment, including in-text citations and references for all sources that are used. Please note that no abstract is needed.

Design, Data, and Measurements
This assignment will have you focus on research design, data, and measurements. There are three parts to this assignment. First, you will review a study and identify the design, variables, population and evidence. Second, you will look at the hypothesis from Unit I and based on what you learned in Unit II, determine if you need to revise the hypothesis based on these additional research components. Third, you will develop survey questions based on your revised hypothesis.
Part I: You will use the information from the National Longitudinal Study of the High School Class of 1972 to complete this first part.
Identify the research design(s) used to conduct the research.
Identify the dependent and independent variables.
Identify the levels of measurement.
Identify how the research population was sampled.
Identify and explain evidence reliability and validity controls, and threats to the data’s internal and external validity.
Part II: In the Unit I Scholarly Activity, you developed your hypothesis and research question or questions. Based on what you have learned in Unit II, consider the following:
Is the research design you selected appropriate for your research hypothesis and questions?
What are your dependent and independent variable or variables?
What are the levels of measurement?
How will sample the research population?
What are the threats to reliability and validity?
Then, determine if you need to revise your research hypothesis and research questions. Revise the hypothesis and or research questions as required. If no revisions are necessary, justify your decision. Keep in mind that you will be developing a quantitative research proposal.
Part III: Based on your hypothesis and research questions, develop a minimum of five survey questions. In the construction of the survey questions, ensure you consider the nature of the research, research method, instrumentation, and the operationalization of the variables.
Your paper must be at least three pages in length (not counting the title and reference pages). You are not required to write an introduction or conclusion for this assignment.
Your paper should include a minimum of three resources. You can use the textbook or websites, and at least two peer-reviewed scholarly articles from the CSU Online Library.
Adhere to APA Style when constructing this assignment, including in-text citations and references for all sources that are used. Please note that no abstract is needed.
